In May 9 of us went to the Bowery Mission in NY. We helped prepare and serve meals to about 150 people 3 times every day. We also helped lead chapel, which is a prerequisite for those wanting to getting a free meal. We were amazed to see the transformation in men’s lives when they allow God to work. We were humbled by their praise during worship!

The Leaderhsip Training Conference at Eagle Eyrie was a spiritual shot in the arm for everyone involved. The speaker, band and break-out sessions were great. The fellowship was wonderful and the 80′s Dance lots of fun! Hampden-Sydney was well represented with 8 of the 19 who went!

BCM is meeting outside behind Longwood’s Student Union Thursday, April 1st, for Connections. And no, it’s not an April’s Fool joke! Meet us there at 5 pm. We’ll enjoy music and inspirational words from fellow students. When it’s over, around 6 pm, we’ll all walk over to the BCM building across the street from Stubbs dorm for food and fellowship. Everyone is invited!
